Fox Pictures: My photo highlights

These pictures show encounters with foxes that I have had all over the world. The close-ups are from a red fox family in Shiretoko National Park in Hokkaido, Japan and from Young foxes in the Emmentalwhich I have accompanied for a long time. They are probably my best fox pictures. Some others show a trusting European red fox in the Gran Paradiso National Park in Italy, two red foxes in the wild Denali National Park in Alaska and a red fox in a winter coat in Yellowstone National Park.

Observe and take photos of young foxes

During the Corona period I received a camera trap and used it to locate a burrow with young foxes. Several times since then I have been lucky enough to be able to observe and photograph these curious young animals. Of course, with appropriate camouflage, hours of waiting and the necessary consideration and distance so as not to disturb the fox family!

Foxes: a diverse family of animals

Other pictures show different species of fox and close relatives like one Black-backed jackal and one Scoop dog (Otocyon megalotis) in the Kgalagadi National Park in South Africa. I saw one in South America Andean fox or culpeo and one Crab fox or Maikong.
