Alpine Ibex pictures: my photo highlights​

These are my best ibex pictures that I have taken over the years during my hikes and excursions in the Alps. Most of the photos are in the Bernese Alps - near my home - recorded. 

Ibex in the Engadine or in the Bernese Oberland

Some Capricorn images were im Engadine, in the Swiss National Park, on the Augstmatthorn, Brienzer Rothorn, Niederhorn or in the Gran Paradiso National Park recorded in the Italian Aosta Valley. For me, the Alpine Ibex is one of the most majestic and impressive animals. For me, especially the male with his big horns is the real king of the Alps and a fantastic subject for photos. Anyone who has ever been able to observe the unbelievable surefootedness of these animals in the steepest terrain can certainly understand this.
