From Cairo via Luxor to the Red Sea – landscape and cultural photography in Egypt
Egypt is one of the world's most fascinating travel destinations. Hardly any other country combines such an impressive [something - likely a historical or cultural attraction]. ancient high culture with vibrant cities, vast desert landscapes and the colorful underwater worlds of the Red Sea. The country offers countless subjects for photographers – from the monumental Pyramids of Giza from the temples along the Nile to the coral reefs in front Hurghada and El Gouna. Cairo – a vibrant metropolis between souks and pyramids
The journey begins in the huge metropolis Cairo, one of the largest cities in Africa. The city pulsates with life: narrow alleyways, historic mosques, bustling bazaars, and the traditional Souks, where spices, fabrics and handicrafts are offered.
An absolute highlight is the legendary Egyptian Museum in Cairo. This area contains some of the world's most important archaeological finds, including the famous gold treasure of the Pharaoh. Tutankhamun. The elaborate masks, sarcophagi, and hieroglyphs offer fascinating insights into the culture of ancient Egypt.
Just a few kilometers outside the city rises one of the most famous buildings in human history: the Pyramids of Giza. The view from the numerous [objects] is particularly impressive. Red Sea – Makadi Bay, El Gouna and Hurghada
After the intense impressions of the ancient temples, the Red Sea a completely different contrast. The coastal towns Makadi Bay, El Gouna and Hurghada are known for their turquoise lagoons, fine sandy beaches and spectacular coral reefs.
