Panama Pictures: My Photo Highlights

Panama - Much more than just the land on the canal

My photo highlights from Panama

To conclude mine Pan America Adventure went to Panama. With the “4 Day Island Hopping” trip San Blas Adventures we are off Sapzurro (Colombia) by motorboat from island to island through the seemingly paradisiacal San Blas archipelago traveled. This is where island life becomes like too Robinson Crusoe's times come true. The countless small, lonely islands with perfect sandy beaches lined with palm trees look good in any holiday brochure.

The semi-autonomous area of Comarca of Guna Yala (also Kuna Yala) is administered by the indigenous people of the Kuna and seems like a relic from bygone times with intact rainforest and largely traditionally living locals.

Bocas del Toro: Panama's picture book Caribbean beaches

The gorgeous collection of small and six larger islands off the Caribbean coast of Panama is as Bocas del Toro known. Even if the province of the same name stretches further inland. The largest island is particularly popular with backpackers and surfers Isla Colon popular. There is a corresponding tourist infrastructure, night life, perfect waves and beautiful beaches.

Panama City and the Panama Canal

Then we went by bus to the cosmopolitan capital Panama City with its impressive Skyline. As a contrast, there is a leisurely tour through the wonderful old town of San Felipe or Casco Viejo at. They and their residents offer numerous photo opportunities for wonderful Panama pictures. Another must-see are the huge ones Miraflores Locks of the world famous Panama Canal.
