City of Bern pictures: My photo highlights

The picturesque Bern old town is not in the list of the UNESCO world heritage been recorded. In every season of the year the city gives a wonderful photo subject with the dominant one Bern Minster, embraced by the Aare. The view from the is particularly magnificent rose Garden above the Aargauerstaldens or from the Lorraine Bridge for the perfect picture of the city of Bern. Breathtaking Sunsets can be observed and photographed from the terrace by the Bernese rose garden.

Probably the greatest photo subject of the year can be seen during a few spring days from the Bernese rose garden. The Japanese cherry trees are in full bloom, as is the medieval old town Federal building, Nydeggkirche and especially the striking one Bern Minster wonderfully supported. This is probably most beautiful during the short time of the Cherry Blossom (Japanese Sakura) in March/April. Then there are particularly numerous magnificent motifs at the rose garden for the perfect photo of the city of Bern.

But also in winterwhen the whole city is covered by a blanket of snow, everything looks a bit magical. When the sun sets on the horizon that will be Bern parliament building and the Bern Minster wonderfully illuminated. Other top attractions are the Zytglogge Tower, Kramgasse, the Käfigturm, the Bundesplatz, the cathedral platform or the Bundeshaus terrace. The Bernese Alps of Bernese Oberland can be used as a super background when the view is clear.
