Today is all about the onward journey. With everything packed and loaded, we set out on the two-hour drive back towards Cuiaba. The regular rain showers are only able to cool the air slightly.
Since we arrive in the big city at the beginning of the afternoon, we are looking for that Pantanal shopping center up and want to take a look around there. Few of the labels we know have a shop here. Still, the tour through the modern center was interesting. We content ourselves with tasting in the local food court. The many snack bars and fast food chains are once again conspicuous; healthy eating hardly seems an issue in Brazil.
Thanks to Google Maps navigation on the iPhone, we can easily find the starting point and bring our car back to the rental company at 4 a.m. We take a taxi to the Bus station chauffeur where ours at 8 p.m. Andorinha bus to Campo Grande will drive. We spend the waiting time with a game of chess and reading. Until the bus finally appears at 8.30 p.m. Unfortunately, even the most comfortable reclining seats are not very comfortable on the bumpy ride.
