At 7:40 a.m. our plane takes off for the almost 90-minute flight back to\u00a0<b>Panama City<\/b>. The taxi drivers here in Panama City are <b>really the last<\/b>! First of all, despite the hotel name and address, they never know where you want to go and if you show them on the map, they still don&#039;t know how to get there. To this end, the attempt is made to cheat the gringo and to a degree that equates to a real cheek and we have never experienced it on this trip. Finally we find a halfway sensible driver who chauffeurs us to the hotel. We start with <b>Plaza de la Independenica<\/b> and stroll through the alleys, where there is a lot of building and renovation going on. In the cozy, wonderfully green <b>Plaza de Francia<\/b> several souvenir stands can be found. Including on Kunas who sell their local handicrafts. From here you can even see them\u00a0<b>Puente de las Americas<\/b>which leads in a high arch over the canal. Just the place for <b>Last minute shopping<\/b>, even if the <b>Prices not necessarily more attractive than at home<\/b> are. But the choice is almost immeasurable. We eat in the food court in the evening. I skype briefly with \u00c4du and Steffi, who are on vacation in the American Southwest.
