And all of that without a strenuous hike in this heat.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At the tip of our hostel owner, we take the minibus along the turquoise coast for almost an hour to get to <strong>Palomino<\/strong>. Always funny, what is transported on these local buses. An old lady seems to have bought a new wheelbarrow, which was temporarily tied to the roof.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Arrived in the manageable Palomino, we buy some fruit and march <strong>to the beach<\/strong>. There is surprisingly little going on on the clean sandy beach. Just behind it are some simple, cozy hostels and bars. You could also spend the night in a hammock.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We enjoy the hot lunchtime hours in <strong>Shadow of the coconut trees <\/strong>and reading. In between there is always a minimally refreshing swim in the sea, which is relatively wild by Caribbean standards. <strong>Pelicans<\/strong> fly by and a few other tourists do the same. Pure tropical idyll.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Suddenly I hear GOAL from one of the nearby beach bars and I just realize that <strong>Champions League Final <\/strong>between Juve and Barca running. So I watch the rest of the second half and have a drink <strong>ice cold beer<\/strong>. I call that wonderful! If we weren&#039;t running out of time, we would certainly stay here for a few more days and soak up the cozy atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Then I throw myself into the wild waves again, where now some local teenagers are in the <strong>Body surfing<\/strong> try and do the same to them.
