We decide to stay on the coast without making a detour to the Cordillera Blancha - the highest mountain range outside of the Himalayas with 33 peaks over 5500 m. Then we march in the direction <b>Plaza Kennedy<\/b> and drink some fruit juice. Since you can&#039;t really keep up with local public transport as a tourist in Lima, you take a taxi to the <b>Museo Larco<\/b>. The private collection of the Peruvian archaeologist Rafael Larco Hoyle is one of the most extensive collections of pre-Columbian art of ancient Peru. But also numerous artifacts worth seeing <b>Cupisnique, Lambayeque, Vir\u00fa, Chim\u00fa and Inka<\/b>-Culture are wonderfully presented embedded in the premises of the manor house. We met the two Lime\u00f1as on our Tambopata tour and agreed to meet in Lima. You drive with us to <b>historical center of the city<\/b>. Here we visit the <b>Plaza San Martin\u00a0<\/b>surrounded by wonderful colonial architecture. The busy pedestrian zone Jir\u00f3n de la Uni\u00f3n goes to\u00a0<b>Plaza de Armas de Lima<\/b>. We are located in the heart of Lima, surrounded by the cathedral, state and city government palace. Unlike what is described in various travel guides, we never feel uncomfortable. Paola and Clara also believe that the situation has improved a lot in recent years.
