We take a taxi to the <b>Bus station<\/b>where our bus ride to Lake Titicaca starts at 8 a.m. The <b>highest navigable lake on earth (3812 meters above sea level) and largest lake in South America\u00a0<\/b>covers one <b>Area of 8,000 km2<\/b>. Possibly created by the folding of the Andes, the lake is a remnant of the primeval sea and still shows today <b>one percent salt water<\/b> up and should <b>Seahorse <\/b>accommodate.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>Finally we reach the place San Pablo de Tiquina, where the bus is loaded onto a raft and over the <b>Strait of Tiquina<\/b> translated. For safety reasons, we passengers take the speedboat over to San Pedro de Tiquina and wait for the bus to arrive.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>Another hour later we come in <b>Copacabana<\/b> at. Yes, the world famous Rio de Janeiro beach is idyllic after that, however <b>pretty touristy<\/b> Named election driver town. Since there are only nonsensical half-day tours that visit the remarkable Inca temple I\u00f1aq Uyu on the moon island, we decide on the full-day tour to Isla del Sol for an inexpensive 35 BOB, the equivalent of 5 francs.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>The Bolivian cuisine with all that fried food is slowly but surely getting to our necks. That&#039;s why we&#039;re twice as happy to discover an Asian restaurant. Strengthened, we set out to climb the <b>Local mountain Cerro Calvario<\/b> (3966 m above sea level). We meet an American from today&#039;s bus ride who is accompanying us. We get them on the steep path <b>thin mountain air<\/b> clearly felt. The view of Lake Titicaca, Copacabana and the surrounding hills is really worth the effort.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>We linger a little and enjoy the only rays of sunshine on this cool, unfriendly day.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>When it slowly gets dark, we make our way back. We satisfy our hunger pangs with a yogurt.
