Niki skyps longer with her mother while I update my blog again.<\/p>\n<p>Then we&#039;ll do one <b>Tour through the pretty town<\/b>, where we treat ourselves to a fruit juice and snack. Unfortunately, there is nowhere to find a map of the region. The weather is getting better and better, so we are now with our VW Golf rental car in the <b>Chapada dos Guimaraes National Park<\/b> drive. From a viewing platform we look over to the imposing 86 m high waterfall. For a small fee we can drive between villas to another viewing platform. The table mountain-like rock formations are vaguely reminiscent of the American Monument Valley, albeit greener.<\/p>\n<p>A little further would be that\u00a0<b>Geodetic center of South America,<\/b> but the road there is only partially suitable for cars and so we let it be. We are still driving towards Ciudad de Pedra, one of the highlights of the park, but it is already a bit late and the road is unpaved, so we end this venture.<\/p>\n<p>Back in the <b>Pousada Rios<\/b> let&#039;s write some more diary and Niki skyps again.
