This time, however, only the group can be seen <b>Howler monkey<\/b> and the usual birds. In addition to caimans, we always spot a number of eagles. These in turn are supposed to be lured with a piranha bait, but somehow nobody really wants to this morning. Also a sunbathing one <b>iguana<\/b> spots Fabricio. Even today the thermometer is already rising in the morning hours <b>over 35 degrees<\/b>. Ideal conditions for using the cooling pool and reading something in the shade. The rare hyacinth macaws are said to be frequenting this area. Hardly set off <b>two young crab foxes<\/b> on the street looking for insects. A funny sight! Further <b>Nandu families<\/b> can be observed from a short distance as we reach our destination, the seasonally closed Araras Lodge. Today doesn&#039;t seem to be our lucky day, none of the blue magnificent birds wants to be seen. We climb the Treetop lookout point, where we get a great view over the property, but there is nothing to see here either. A bit disappointed, we make our way back.<\/p>\n<div>Fabricio is doing on a palm tree <b>Capuchin monkeys<\/b> from which we watch for a moment while playing. We hear loud creaking and a couple of macaws flies by. Fortunately, they are not the only ones. A single one <b>Hyacinth Macaw<\/b> is right across the street while drinking. Then he flies over to a palm tree, where he fetches a palm fruit and eats it.
