So today we are leaving the crazy gambling metropolis. It&#039;s a shame, because now the weekend is just around the corner. There is a lot more going on in the city. The luggage has increased a bit in the last few days, so it looks messy in the car. After shopping in a Walmart superstore, we go to the outlet center again to exchange my stained shirt. We eat a salad there and I buy another daypack and a new sun hat. In addition to bushes, only a few small Joshua trees grow here. Except for a few hills, the route to Beatty is uneventful. We arrive there shortly before 6 a.m., which now means almost sunset. In the last rays of sunshine of the day we take a look at the ruins of the Ghosttown Rhyolite, which are not worth seeing. The only thing really worth seeing is a rotting train wagon. Then we decide to go back to Beatty and camp there. The comfortable and inexpensive RV campground offers showers and laundry, which we use.
